Yves Kaguriro has over eight years of extensive experience in the humanitarian field. Yves is currently the program manager at UGEAFI, a non-profit organization that oversees critical initiatives and meaningful programs aimed at meeting the pressing needs of marginalized people. Yves has a long history of serving as an agronomist, dedicated to providing farmers with cutting-edge agricultural practices and essential tools to increase output. His initiatives have made a substantial contribution to rural communities' economic relief by increasing their capacity through the establishment of local structures such as Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA). Yves has a Bachelor of Science in agronomy. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Yves plans to continue serving communities in the humanitarian sector, honing his skills and expertise in order to make a meaningful impact.
