The Global Community Emergency Fund provides direct support to members of the UC Davis community including visiting scholars, students, faculty and their families who have an urgent and immediate financial need related to natural disasters, humanitarian crises, and other circumstances beyond their control. Funds support immediate and essential needs such as housing assistance, transportation, utilities, and other basic living expenses and/or educational expenses.
A team with representatives from the UC Davis School of Law and Global Affairs work together to evaluate applications and distribute funds.
