Hubert H. Humphrey West Cohort Year-End Conference

The 2017-18 cohort of UC Davis Humphrey Fellows travelled to Arizona to meet the Arizona State University Humphrey Fellows for the West Cohort Year-End Conference April 16-19, 2018. The Fellows discussed their professional experiences in the U.S., transitioning home, and reverse culture shock as the fellowship program end date approaches. While in Arizona, the Fellows also visited the Grand Canyon via Monument Valley, where most opted to stay overnight in traditional Navaho hogans, among other sightseeing activities.

He emphasized the need for participatory community action and acknowledging the human resources that exist even in resource-scarce communities, November 28, 2017.
Xin Liu interviewed for Al Gore's 24 Hours of Climate Reality, featured in the eleventh hour focused on China, December 4-5, 2017.
