Isatu Zainab Mansaray has five years of work experience in disaster management and climate change resilience building. Currently, Isatu is serving as a project officer at Caritas Freetown, a humanitarian non-governmental organization that is focused on improving the lives of vulnerable communities in Sierra Leone. She has participated in several projects that were successful across the Western area of the city and is passionate about service delivery. During her free time, she volunteers for the 'Sick Pikin Project', a project that centrally focuses on providing medical assistance to vulnerable children with severe medical conditions. She is part of the core team that engages in fundraising for the organization. Isatu holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Sierra Leone. Isatu is highly driven by the passion to serve humanity and help the most vulnerable in society. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Isatu plans to establish a plastic waste recycling center which will serve as employment opportunities for youths and promote a clean and healthy environment. She is also looking forward to establishing a safe haven for children affected by disasters.
