Yves Kaguriro has over eight years of extensive experience in the humanitarian field.  He has dedicated his career to helping underprivileged communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Sudan.  Yves is currently the program manager at UGEAFI, a non-profit organization that oversees critical initiatives and meaningful programs aimed at meeting the pressing needs of marginalized people.  Yves has a long history of serving as an agronomist, dedicated to providing farmers with cutting-edge agricultural practices and essential tools to increase output.  His initiatives have made a substantial contribution to rural communities' economic relief by increasing their capacity through the establishment of local structures such as Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA).  Yves has a Bachelor of Science in agronomy. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Yves plans to continue serving communities in the humanitarian sector, honing his skills and expertise in order to make a meaningful impact.
