About Ruben Ndatitangi Angala

Ruben Angala has more than seven years of experience in law enforcement. Currently, Ruben is a warden at the Namibian Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism focusing on fighting wildlife crime. He is also a board member of the Namibian Environment and Wildlife Society, where he is responsible for youth activities. Ruben holds a bachelor's degree with honors in Natural Resources Management, as well as a diploma in Paralegal Studies. Ruben is committed to eradicating wildlife crime (particularly against high-value species) and to supporting the permanent protection of Namibia's diverse natural heritage. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Ruben plans to enhance strategic thinking and support the adoption of strategic plans in the fight against wildlife crime in Namibia.
